A gorgeous Victorian spectacles case. This charming example has a velvet body pouch in deep emerald green with ormolu (gilded metal) decoration to the front, chain and clip. The belt or pocket clip is beautifully engraved with acanthus details. To the reverse is the maker's engraved address - "Carpenter and Westley, 24 Regent St. London", revealing that this was a high quality item from a West End retailer.Postage and packing £10.00 UK
