This exquisite George III silver mote spoon dates circa 1740. The bowl pierced with scrolls and crosslets. Traditional pointed terminal.

Hallmarks:

Lion Passant.
Distorted makers marks, as was very often the case with mote spoons.

Dimensions:

Length: 15cm / a little under 6 inches.
Bowl: 2.5cm x 4.5cm

Condition:

Very good bowl with no loss to pierced decorations.
