Description

This small and elegant Edwardian silver jewellery box is dated Birmingham 1909 and bears the marks of T. H. Hazlewood & Co. Of serpentine form , the plain sides raised on four cabriole legs. The hinged lid opening to reveal a gilt inner lid and the original silk interior. The base solid silver, always a sign of quality.

Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "k" for 1909.
Lion passant.
