Description

This delightful and very unusual silver hat pin is hallmarked for Birmingham 1934 and bears the marks of Pearce & Thompson. The steel pin mounted with a textured silver finial inset with two thistles, one amethyst paste stone and one amber. Both surmounted by a wirework decoration.

Hallmarks:

P&T for Pearce & Thompson.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "K" for 1934.

Length: 16cm / 6.2 inches.

Condition:

Very good.
Would make a wonderful addition to a hat pin collection.
