Description

This is a small and very sweet little desk magnifying glass. It has a decorative silver mounted powder blue guilloche enamel handle, the engine turned enamel inset present on both sides of the handle. Mounted with a 4cm diameter silver gilt mount inset with magnifying glass.

Hallmarks:

Maker's marks erased.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "O" for 1938.

Condition:

Very good.
Handle in excellent condition.
Glass with no surface scratching.
No loss to the enamel.

Length 10.4cm / 4 inches.
Glass diameter: 4 cm / 1.6 inches.
