Description

This is a very pretty gilt glass attar perfume bottle. These type of scent bottles are also known as an Oxford Lavender or Throwaway , as they were sold containing a sample of perfume and were intended to be thrown away after use. The four faceted sides sliced-cut with thumb-cut patterns and heightened with simple gilt decorations. Fitted with a penny drop gilt glass stopper. These were very rudimentary glass scent bottles, it makes them all the more charming.
