Description

1ate 1960's dress by John Marks for Way In (at Harrods). Way In was introduced by Harrods in 1967, to showcase the very latest designer fashion in order to sell to 'swinging London'.
The dress is wool and is fully lined in an acetate type fabric with a zip at the back. The signed with its metallic embellishments was obviously inspired by Parisian designer such as Pierre Cardin. It is a size 12, but is smaller than the modern size 12 we are familiar with now. Measurement under the bust around the bodice area is 74cm, and length is 88cm. There is a small hem of around 2 cm also.
Condition is good, but there is one tiny piece of moth damage (photographed. This is on the right hand side of the dress.
