Saba Bucherer articulated tin doll

Description

Made by the swiss firm of Saba ,Switzerland 1921 to 1935, these dolls made from tin have numerous ball joints (patented by the firm) all in fine working order.
They produced around 160 character dolls based on popular persons of the time ie Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton...most were made for the expanding American market.
Doll has composition hands ,feet and head with some wear and tin shows surface patination through age.
