A French brass cased striking and repeating carriage clock. A brass case with an enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. A fluted carrying handle. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong numbered 332. A lever escapement. Push button repeating. Circa 1900.Height 5 "/ 13 cms (size with handle down) Width 4" / 10 cms Depth 3 1/2" 8 cms
