A French brass cased striking and repeating carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals. Signed by the retailer 'Alstons & Hallam 69, Cornhill E C' (London). An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A repeating button to the top. A lever escapement. Circa 1895.
