A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. A lever escapement visible through the oval top glass. Circa 1895.Height 5 1/4" / 13 cms (handle down) Width 3 1/2" / 9 cms Depth 3" / 8 cms
