Description

An English late Georgian/William IV twin fusee bracket clock. An arched top with a stepped gadroon pediment surmounted by a pineapple finial. A mahogany case of good colour and patina with brass inlays. A convex glass to the cast brass bezel and painted dial with 'moon' blued steel hands. An 8-day duration double fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

The case style is typical of the period around 1825 - 1835.
