A great Victorian carved black forest eagle coat hook. This is slightly unusual because it is carved out of ash. Black forest is a generic term for this type of carving. It has four turned coat hooks with a storage shelf to the top.The best part is the wonderful carved eagle to the centre. He has great character lovely glass bead eye out stretched wing and tale. There is no damage at all to this coat hook. Even with four coats on the eagle would still be able to stare at you, great thing.
