Description

A beautiful Victorian flight of draper/haberdashery drawers. These drawers are in stunning original condition and look as if they have just come out of the drapers shop. They are made from satin walnut which has been coloured to resemble mahogany.
There are fourteen graduating drawers each still maintains it's original number and identification label. All the drawers have military flush handles in good working order. I believe this would have sat on a counter top. The larger drawers have additional removable storage sections all with small dividers.
Most of the drawers still have their internal labels with interesting hand written additional notes to the wooden sides and backs of the drawers. This is a very rare survivor which has had nothing removed and is a real slice of late Victorian shop fitting history it would look fantastic in a kitchen or back as shop display or even as part of a Victorian shop museum a truly great item.
