Description
This an exceptionally rare Victorian scrambled millefiori paperweight by Baccarat. This dated 1846 with a capital B above the date. Baccarat was established in 1764 with their most active period between 1845-60.The most common being 1848 then 47. The uncommon rare one is the 46, One of the main features of Baccarat paperweight is that they used mainly primary colours.
This a stunning example with no chips or major rubbing. The interior consists of Arrow & star, Whorl, Honeycomb and Fortress and is a feast for the eyes.
