Regency Rosewood Sewing Box in lovely condition. The case is bound in brass and has brass campaign handles. Sitting on brass bun feet, a working lock and key and a brass inscribed nameplate. (Eliza). This lovely item still contains a vast amount of sewing implements, all this adds to the history, you can imagine Eliza being very proud of the box and its contents. The inside has its original pale blue silk lining. The top with all its little compartments hide more sewing implements, this lifts out to reveal the storage area at the bottom. What a lovely gift this would make. Circa 1830
