Beautifully Decorated Ships Chest of Drawers

STUNNING & RARE This beautifully decorated ships chest of drawers in honour of Captain P J Lords., HMS York, 1861. The top is decorated with flags with Trust In God. The sides have V R on them. The 'eyelets' on each side would be for ropes to pass through or for attachment of rope Becketts - to enable loading on/off board ship. I have since sourced replacement rope to give the chest back its character. (not shown in the pictures but now added.) This piece has seen the world yet maintains its integrity & character.Two smaller drawers over two long drawers. What a talking point and a fabulous surviving piece of our history.Shipping information
