Absolutely stunning quality Danish Chest of Drawers . Inside the top drawer the makers stamp as seen in picture shows this piece to have been made but cabinet makers to the Royal Family in Denmark . The inscription K J OBENHAVN . C B HANSENS HOFSTOLEMAGER. C B Hansen 1806 - 1868 . Everything about this Chest of Drawers oozes quality and craftsmanship. The flame grained mahogany draw fronts with fabulous finely gilded cast handles and escutcheons. The drawers have their original locks and key . Each drawer is dovetailed and the thick oak linings are exceptionally solid. This chest stands on bun feet on the front and block feet on the back.This chest of drawers will enhance any room it is used in.
