A pair of figurative art nouveau solid pewter candle holders in a Dutch theme made popular by Liberty & Co at the turn of the 19th century. The Dutch girl is holding an urn aloft which would contain a candle. Some slight signs of age and some nibbling around the candle holder rims. Surprisingly heavy. No makers marks but almost certainly German in origin.DateArt Nouveau :
