Pair of George Tinworth 17" Doulton Lambeth Vases

Description
An impressive pair of Doulton Lambeth ware vases by George Tinworth. Decorated with tubeline, sgrafitto and jewell techniques,these are still rich and vibrant in colour and stand at 17" or 44 cm high. In good overall condition with a few minor issues these are offered in unrestored condition. The vase has five jewels knocked and some minor nibbles around the base. The second vase has one jewel missing at the centre of a flower and a base and rim chip both just under a cm in length. Please study the photographs carefully.Both vases are back stamped for Doulton Lambeth ware and bare GT monogram in the design. They are dated 1878.DateMid Victorian :
