An Outstanding 19th Century French Burr Ash Guéridon or Centre Table with Fabulous Original Marble Top.

This table, of exceptional quality, has an angular tripartite base. The three legs each terminate in carved paw feet and with their original castors. Each leg has a raised, hipped, section before joining the central column. There are also carved demi-paterae above each of the paws. The central column on the table is a vase shape. The surface of the table throughout is exceptional, the timber gleaming and of wonderfully patinated appearance. The timber is of great figure and surface interest and the carving is exceptionally good.

The exquisite marble top has a moulded edge and is a riot of different shades of white, grey, black, orange and pink.
