Description

These very large and imposing antique andirons (or fire dogs) date from the early Victorian era. They are topped by large brass ball finials above a lion's head mask and stand 50 cm (approx 20") high and are 37 cm deep. The width of each one is 27 cm. They are very heavy and would be ideal in a large Georgian or Victorian fireplace.
