Description

An elegant Sauce or gravy boat by the Irish silversmith, Matthew Walsh of Dublin. It bears the mark for 1754-6. It stands on 3 legs with a scrolled handle and has a crest showing a lion to the side. It has a punched bead rim and stepped hoof feet.

The sauce boat measures 18 cm from the spout to the back of the handle and stands 10 cm high.
