Pair Large Ex Mod Military Industrial Lamps Lights

Description
A Scarce Pair of Vintage (c.1940's) Portable Flood Lamps.A superb and undoubtedly 'sub zero cool' pair of vintage wheeled lights.
The large conical shaped lamps each fitted with thick, fresnel style glass lenses and secured onto brilliantly industrial and somewhat 'brutal' looking wheeled bases.
Both the lamps and the bases are marked with the military 'crows foot' cypher and would have originally been employed in an MOD or war office department.....likely an aircraft or army hanger where a powerful and easily portable light was needed for the fabrication, servicing and repair of industrial or war-time machinery / hardware.
The lamps swivel and can easily be set to any angle by hand, via oversized wing nuts and adjusting teeth. Pointing down, straight ahead, a 45 degree angle to illuminate a wall....or even at 90 degrees as brilliant uplighters, these awesome lamps are incredibly useable and versatile. Each is fitted with 10.5 meters of rubber flex, giving you great range.
These would look fabulous as display pieces in a retail outlet, a place or work, a studio or workshop (as originally intended)....or indeed within the home.
All in all, a knockout lighting feature which are simply impossible to miss.
Great value.
