A Huge Carved Wooden Cockerel Figurine / Sculpture

A magnificent carving, skilfully made from one piece of wood and brilliantly done.

An enormous and life-like depiction of a cockerel, with plumed rear tail, red comb and wattle and somewhat fierce looking eyes and beak!

This fantastic piece is on a scale all of its own and is simply impossible to miss.

Would look superb in domestic or retail setting - a country or town property alike... perhaps in a shop window or a large kitchen space? And surely a must for the collector of all things hen / chicken....this massive piece would top it all off.

A real talking point and incredibly decorative.

Dimensions -

Enormous. 101 cms tall and very imposing.

Condition -

In good overall vintage condition. Slightly weathered. Some minor marks, chips and grazes....but nothing that really detracts. A little loss and wear to the beak, as shown.
