Description

A rare and unusual, well preserved late Victorian era antique Treen wooden novelty smoking pipe in the form of a champagne bottle.
The bottle is likely of sycamore or beech wood and has a butterscotch toned faux finish that resembles figured or curly type grain like that found on mahogany and maple. The whole unscrews in the middle to reveal the pipe stem and bowl. The Amber tipped stem is simply pushed in a hole in the side of the base of the bottle and it's ready to smoke.
The copper Champagne cork is inscribed in italic font with "J.W. Crock". This bottle pipe was made in the late 19th century.
