Description

This is a writing slope of fine quality, made in a fine Coromandel wood, considered as exotic and rare during the early 19th century.
It has brass banding reinforced corners with a vacant cartouche to the top, with two locks, one internally and a Bramah lock to the outside.
The fully fitted interior is completely original, including the ink bottles and leather writing surface, it is also fitted with three secret drawers to the inside,
This a really wonderful piece of period furniture.
