19th Century French mahogany semanier chest of exceptional quality, the chest consisting of nine oak lined drawers with original brass ring handles, flanked by wonderful fluted columns decorated with brass inserts, the original finely veined yellow / orange marble top has a brass gallery running along the sides and back, the whole piece is embellished with superb quality brass mouldings and fittings, standing on elegant turned feet. Circa 1880.33” x 18” x 59” high
