19th Century burr walnut pier cabinet, superb quality burr walnut top above a frieze decorated with ormolu beading and an inlaid marquetry panel of floral design, the single door having a large inlaid marquetry panel at the centre with ormolu beading and boxwood stringing running round the edge of the panel, the columns either side having lovely quality ormolu mounts and inlaid floral marquetry panels, the door opening to reveal three shelves inside, standing on a shaped plinth. Circa 1860.
