Description
Early 19th Century mahogany reading / side table, having a crossbanded top with a reeded edge, which opens up on a ratchet mechanism which acts as a reading slope, the table having two drawers on one side with one drawer fitted with a pen tray and ink well, the other side having one drawer and a faux drawer above, all drawers having original turned brass handles, supported on square tapering legs with carved and shaped decoration at the top, terminating on brass cap and castors. Circa 1830.24” x 16” x 31 1/4” high
