Description

A large 19th Century carved oak bookcase in the arts and craft style, having a moulded edge cornice decorated with dentil moulding, the bookcase enclosed with a pair of Mackintosh style leaded light astragal glazed doors opening to reveal six adjustable shelves inside, the door fronts having carved decoration at the top and lovely intricate carving running down the sides, consisting of cherubs, birds and various floral decoration, standing on a plinth base. Circa 1880.
