18th Century oak bureau bookcase, having a moulded cornice above two fielded paneled doors, with the door fronts crossbanded in walnut, opening to reveal three adjustable shelves inside, the crossbanded bureau fall opening to reveal a lovely fitted interior with various drawers, compartments and a door at the centre, with a shaped apron running along the top, with four oak lined graduated drawers below, the drawers fronts crossbanded in walnut, with brass plate handles, standing on bracket feet. Circa 1780.40 1/2” x 19” x 84 3/4” high
