19th Century Chinese traveling scribes desk, the legs fold away to make it easy to transport when they were traveling, the carving is top class, the mouldings are carved to look like bamboo and it’s carved all over with mythical creatures and symbols, the desk also having two drawers in the frieze. Circa 1870.30 1/4” x 22 3/4” x 25 1/2” high
