Description

A fabulous quality early 19th Century burr walnut pedestal desk, the moulded edge top having a green leather writing surface decorated with blind and gold tooling, the front of the desk has a selection of eleven mahogany lined drawers with brass ring pull handles, the drawers on the pedestals are graduated, the desk having a pair of cupboards on the reverse, the ends of the desk are panelled and everything is burr walnut with cross grained mouldings. This is the best quality desk we have had in a number of years, a real gem. Circa 1840.
