Description

18th Century oak housekeepers cupboard of good proportions, the cupboard is in two sections, the top section having a stepped moulded cornice above a four door cupboard, the door fronts having fielded panels with crossbanding, the two doors at the centre opening to reveal three shelves inside, flanked either side by single doors opening to reveal two shelves, the base section comprising of five large drawers with brass plate handles and crossbanded drawer fronts, a cupboard either side of the bottom two drawers with also fielded panel doors and crossbanding, supported on ogee bracket feet. Fantastic colour and in excellent condition. Circa 1770.
