A pair of 19th Century carved mahogany armchairs in the Chippendale style, superb quality and lovely dense timber, the supports carved with flower foliage, at the centre is a lovely shaped and carved back splat, the shaped curved arms terminating with carved scrolls, the seat having been re-upholstered in a green leather with brass stud decoration, with out swept legs at the rear and carved cabriole legs at the front terminating with a ball and claw foot. Circa 1880.28” x 22” x 39 1/2” high
