Description

A fabulous and rare pair of early 20th Century Chinoiserie open cabinets in the 18th Century Chinese style, the black lacquered cabinets with gilt decoration, having decorative pagoda tops with bells either side at the front, supported on barley twist columns, each cabinet having three shelves with red lacquered panels, pierced fret decoration, standing on square legs. The gilt decoration is very finely painted and both cabinets are in excellent condition. Circa 1920.
