Description

A decorative freestanding 19th Century Japanese parquetry table cabinet from the Meiji period (1868-1912) having a pair of doors with black lacquered panels with a gilded wildlife scene, opening to reveal a selection of six drawers, a single frieze drawer below and supported on a black lacquered plinth base, the cabinet has all the original brassware and is decorated with parquetry on all sides. Circa 1880.
