A 'Kingpostman' Oak Coffee Table

Description
Crafted out of fine English oak, this table has an adzed top with canted corners, through tenons securing the stretcher (on which the carved kingpost signature is found), exposed pegs and a glorious rich brown colour.'Kingpostman' was the identity of Alan Grainger in the 1950s. A former apprentice of Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson, he went on to found Acorn Industries where he replaced his kingpost signature with an acorn.
