Description

In the Glasgow School style of the Arts & Crafts movement, and possibly the work of Wylie & Lochhead, these chairs are very well made out of mahogany and have studded seats in green faux leather. Restrained in style, they have distinctive tapering uprights, shaped finials and turned legs. There are two carvers and four side chairs.

The carvers - 58cm wide and 112cm high.

The side chairs - 44cm wide and 107cm high.

All of the seats are 46cm from the floor, which is standard for dining chairs.

These chairs are in very good and solid condition with a couple of well-executed old repairs. The seats are in excellent order.
