Description

From the Stanton Dining Group offered by Gordon Russell in the 1950s/60s, the table has a veneered teak top with barrelled ends and legs polished to match rosewood. It extends by means of an extra leaf that is stored beneath the top. The six chairs, model no. X.6408, are of mahogany polished to a rosewood colour and have been reupholstered in green fabric. The table bears a Gordon Russell metal plaque.

The length of the table is 188cm with the extra leaf and 145cm without. It is 84cm wide and 75cm high.

The chairs measure 86cm high and 47cm wide. The seats are 46cm high, which is standard for a dining chair.

The chairs have been reupholstered and are in very good and solid condition. The table is also in very good condition with just one visible, superficial scratch on the refinished top.
