Description

An absolutely magnificent Danish vintage rosewood gate leg dining table by Niels Koefoed. This iconic design was made in Denmark by Koefoeds Horslet in the 1960’s.

The quality is outstanding, the way the joints of the drop leaf top interlock is really thing of beauty. It is very well built and heavy, with thick edges and sturdy yet elegant tapered legs. This has a clever space saving deign, when closed it can seat two, when fully opened it can seat six and has a very generous surface area.

The colour and rosewood grain patterns are gorgeous throughout. We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is absolutely superb.

The wood is Santos rosewood, which does not require a CITES or article 10.
