A very interesting and stylish vintage Spanish floor lamp by Joan Antoni Blanc for Metalarte, dating from the 1980’s.

Joan Antoni Blanc is a renowned Spanish designer, he designed this model titled ‘Estel’ in 1980. It has a clever design, the white acrylic shade is attached to a black metal frame. It attaches to the stem with a unique sprung peg mechanism, that when pinched closed allows you to raise or lower the height of the shade.

The condition is excellent for its age, with only some very minor wear to the metal work on the base. It is in good working order.
