A very fine pair of antique French inlaid side chests with marble tops, dating from around the 1920-1930’s period.

They are of exceptional quality and are a very useful size. Perfect for use as bedside chests or anywhere else around the home.

The marble tops are stunning, with amazing purple tones and gorgeous patterns. The carcasses have solid wood construction with exquisite king wood and walnut inlay throughout. There are wonderful and extremely high quality gilt bronze mounts which contrast beautifully with the wood. The corners are chamfered all the way down & even on the legs.

These chests are in superb condition having been recently re-polished, there is only some extremely minor old wear here and there.
