A beautiful antique French bombe chest, made from a stunning variety of woods, dating from around the 1930’s.

It is of superb quality and is a lovely, compact size. The front and sides have a curvaceous, serpentine design, there are high quality gilt bronze mounts all over. The top and front have stunning inlaid floral marquetry, the edges have rosewood cross banding and the main wood in between appears to be king wood.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
