Description

An absolutely stunning original Art Deco period tallboy chest of drawers in pollard oak. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s.

The quality is superb, and there is a makers mark inside one of the drawers, it is by Ambler & Lumb Ltd. This is large and impressive, with lots of storage space inside the nine drawers.

The burr grain patterns are beautiful throughout, especially on the drawer fronts. The stepped top is segmented with the grain patterns contrasting nicely. The base is also stepped with lovely carving, there are also carved geometric patterns running down the front edges.

We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is immaculate throughout.
