Description

A very smart and well made antique Victorian period chest of drawers, made in England & dating from around 1860-1880.

The quality is amazing, the solid mahogany top has beautifully curved edges, this sits on a plinth base and the lower drawer is built into the plinth, meaning it is extra deep. All the drawers are quite deep and generous, with lovely turned solid mahogany handles. The mahogany colour and grain patterns are gorgeous throughout.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just some minor old marks here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age. This chest of drawers is free from splits or warps & all the drawers run well.
