Description

A 19th century pocket watch holder in the form of a longcase clock housing a late 19th century Elgin gold plated pocket watch. The case is mahogany and the finals are wood/bone? There is intricate inlay and a false bone escutcheon.

Also included is an Elgin National Watch Co. pocket watch. It is gold plated with serial number 2745973 dated 1888. The case has a lovely, engraved hunting scene. The pocket watch was later adapted to be able to wind the watch by winding the finial to the top.
