VICTORIAN SOVEREIGN SCALES
In excellent condition. Brass scales, made to Crown approved standards, in order to eliminate fakes by checking the weight, diameter and thickness of each coin. The scales have the facility to take either a full or half sovereign, both receptacles made to exact size. The scales incorporate the exact weight for either coin. Each one also has an exact size slot to check each coin for width.
