A stunning Regency mahogany open bookcase. Having two sections with two fixed shelves with reeded fronts. Flanked by reeded and fluted pilasters

The limestone top is sensational, which is a beautiful Derbyshire fossil limestone. This stunning limestone shows early life forms, which are over 300 million years old. The colours in the limestone are earthy with shades of light brown, taupe and grey. Clearly showing hundreds of fossils which have beautiful forms.

Raised on ogee bracket feet.

In excellent antique condition. The limestone is one very long piece and had a crack to the centre. This has been professionally restored and strengthened using two steel rods to prevent any further damage. There is very little evidence of this to the top, just a minor blended mark to the top shown in the pictures.

Very solid sturdy and strong.
